In what seemed to be a blink of the eye, the Subaru was packed full of gear again and after our quick "see-you-soons" we were on the road headed towards Moab and the maze of canyons surrounding it.

The plan was to check out Arches National Park that evening and after camping for one night visit Canyonlands National Park briefly before high-tailing it back to Jackson. Our work schedules made the elongation of the trip impossible, so we made the most of our few days to see as much as we could. This trip served as a nice basic introduction, but left us wanting to dive in much deeper in the future.

Crossing back into Utah from Colorado, the two of us were excited to explore a quieter canyon that Finn had recommended. Our campsite was a 20 minute drive into the gorgeous canyon and as we left the humming streets of Moab behind it felt instantaneous that it was just us and the rugged Mars-like land.
